Lewistown Fire Protection District

The Lewistown Fire Department provides fire & rescue as well as BLS response for the
Lewistown area. The department is made up of approximately 25 volunteer members.
The team responses to approximately 650 calls annually.

A new facility located at 305 S. Main St. is under construction, the projected open date is
March of 2010.

Programs

Fire prevention program with a smoke house

Annual toys for tots program for needy children takes place in December. For more information
